Our goal at The Philadelphia Dance Academy is to provide exceptional dance training in a professional and positive environment. We view each student as an individual and aim to ensure he or she reaches maximum potential. Students are placed in appropriate training programs and taught by a professional, experienced faculty.

Our programs prioritize refined technique, dancer wellness, and artistic development. We offer: Early Childhood Dance, Primary and Pre-Professional Ballet Programs, a Boys Scholarship Program, Theater Dance, Adult/Teen Recreational Classes, and Pilates.

This school year runs Monday, September 8, 2014 through Sunday, June 7, 2015. Fall and Spring Semester are each 18 weeks long, for a total of 36 weeks. The switch to Spring Semester happens on January 26.

Nutcracker & PYB Auditions

Be a part of our 5th annual production! Auditions for Nutcracker and The Philadelphia Youth Ballet are at our Old City location at 219 Cuthbert Street, 3rd Floor on Saturday, September 6. Auditions for the Boys Scholarship and Pre-Professional Programs also happen on this day.

10:00 am – 11:00 am: ages 5 – 7
11:30 am – 12:30 pm: ages 8 – 11
1:00 pm – 2:15 pm: ages 12 and up

Rehearsals begin the following Saturday on September 13, and the performances are December 12 & 13 at the Mandell Theater. Read on for additional details.
